All American Bakeware stoneware bakeware items are breakable. Failure to follow instructions may result in personal injury or property damage. Tempting as it may be, do not use on stovetop, under a broiler/griller, under a microwave browning element, in a toaster oven, or on or near any other direct heating source such as range vents, open flames, etc. See full instructions for stoneware bakeware in our use & care section.
Usage & Care
READ AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS.
USE
- HEAT-RESISTANT TO 400oF. MICROWAVE AND FREEZER SAFE.
- ALWAYS USE A HEAT-RESISTANT POT HOLDER WHEN HANDLING HOT BAKEWARE.
- BAKEWARE SHOULD NOT TO BE USED OVER AN OPEN FLAME, ON A STOVETOP OR UNDER A BROILER.
- KNIVES AND METAL EDGES WILL NOT HARM THE SURFACE, HOWEVER NYLON UTENSILS ARE RECOMMEDED.
- DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR BAKEWARE TO QUICK TEMPERATURE CHANGES. TAKING THE PAN FROM THE OVEN TO THE FREEZER OR REFRIGERATOR CAN CAUSE BREAKAGE. TAKING THE PIECE FROM THE FREEZER DIRECTLY TO A HOT OVEN IS ALSO NOT RECOMMENDED.
- ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR NONCOMMERCIAL USE.
CARE
- WASH PRIOR TO USE. PRODUCT IS DISHWASHER SAFE, HOWEVER HAND WASHING IS PREFERRED.
- BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING THE STONEWARE ESPECIALLY WHEN WASHING. IF THE PIECE SHOULD SLIP OUT OF YOUR HAND AND BREAK, BE VERY CAREFULLY. THE EDGES MAY BE EXTREMELY SHARP AND COULD CAUSE INJURY. WE RECOMMEND WEARING RUBBER GLOVES WHICH HELP GRIP THE SLIPPERY SOAPY SURFACE. ALWAYS LET THE PIECE REST ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SINK WHILE WASHING THEN USE TWO HANDS TO HOLD THE PIECE WHILE RINSING.
- UNGLAZED SUFRACES WILL NATURALLY SEASON AND DEVELOP A NATURAL NONSTICK SURFACE OVER TIME.
- STONEWARE CAN BE USED IN CONVENTIONAL, CONVECTION, AND MICROWAVE OVENS.
- STONEWARE IS FREEZER SAFE.
SAFEGUARDS
- HOT STONEWARE CAN CAUSE BURNS IF HANDLED IMPROPERLY. ALWAYS USE HEAT-RESISTANT OVEN MITTS OR PADS WHEN HANDLING HOT STONEWARE.
- STONEWARE MAY SCRATCH OR DISCOLOR SURFACES. PROTECT YOUR COUNTERTOP OR GLASS STOVETOP SURFACES BY USING A PROTECTIVE BARRIER BETWEEN THE STONEWARE AND THE SURFACE. WE RECOMMEND USING A POT HOLDER OR TRIVET UNDER YOUR STONEWARE BEFORE PLACING IT ON COUNTER TOPS OR GLASS STOVETOPES.
- AVOID EXTREME TEMPERATURE CHANGES. ALWAYS ALLOW STONEWARE TO COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE PRIOR TO ADDING LIQUID OR CLEANING. EXTREME TEMPERATURE CHANGES CAN CAUSE BREAKAGE.
- DO NOT USE CHIPPED OR DAMAGED STONEWARE. STONEWARE CAN BREAK IF BUMPED OR DROPPED. IF BREAKAGE OCCURS, USE EXTREME CAUTION AS THE BROKEN PIECES CAN BE SHARP AND CAUSE INJURY.
- STONEWARE SHOULD NOT TOUCH THE OVEN DOORS OR SIDES DURING COOKING.
